This video snippet shows the upcoming Heffner-treated Audi R8 going from second to fourth gear on the freeway. As is typical with video footage, the car’s true power potential cannot really be seen on a screen. Its pull however, should be quite hectic in real life.

Heffner is going for a factory look and feel with their twin turbo system. They want customers to get more than what the standard car offers but without feeling like they had visited a backyard garage mechanic to achieve that.

At the moment the car is said to run 6PSI and an 11.8 to 1 air/fuel ratio. It kicks out 536 rear wheel hp but should attain about 600rwhp after drinking 100 octane fuel. Heffner reckons these changes will give it a quarter mile time in the high 10 second range.

There’s a certain mystery surrounding these leaked images of Lamborghini’s soon-to-be-born Gallardo LP570-4 SuperVeloce. Rumors say that it might have less weight and even more power than the ‘regular’ LP560-4. From the “name number” nomenclature, we can speculate that it’s going to have around 570hp and should tip the scales at less than 1500kg.

As part of a marketing project to promote a recently launched game called DJ Hero, Red Entertainment from Dubai embarked on a project to customize a Chevrolet Avalanche.

The Avalanche was modified to house a high definition TV, video game consoles as well as air suspension, 24” rims and some funky lighting.

The Avalanche has been making regular appearances at events such as GAMES 09, GiTEX Shopper as well as a regular feature at the Urban Thursday nights at Dubai Festival City, one of the most famous Dubai Malls.

INDEN-Design – A real getaway car!

The first refined Mercedes finished in the history of the vehicle specialist from Haiger. No question, the S-Class from 1983 is imperative as a milestone for Mercedes-Benz, which was completely rebuilt by INDEN design in 1991. Still today the design constructed by INDEN Design excited.

The current appearance is really impressive. Even at walking pace, the car looks impressive athletic. The front greets wide and very deep. The distinctive features of the S-Class with a star on the bonnet, subtly decorated in black. This SE plays to the gallery – not harmless – but with dynamic power, like exciting sports cars do.

Even the idle-running speed sounds promising. At least 386 hp be on the qui vive. The engine is a 6 liter engine with 100mm piston from the former 560 SE series. A stainless-steel sport exhaust system from the manifold with a diameter of 60 mm and each with a tailpipe left/right shows what’s in it. Even when you anneal the Benz the sound is distinctive deep.

At this vehicle a 2,500 rpm means only a slight flexing of muscles. The whole thing is supported by a short axis with a blocker and an engine-transmission with 2B-coupling.

Here’s can be life: INDEN design creates with widened front fenders from the 560 SE and around 70mm wider and higher lengthen rear wheel arches a superlative wheelwork.

At the Front, the three-part INDEN Champion aluminium rims from the motor sports field measure10.5 x 18 inches and 12.5 x 18 inches at the rear. The high performance tires are sized 255/35 R18 and 315/30 R18 from Pirelli “P Zero”.

This car coins the modern appearance of the streets: Long Body, colored windows, large radiator grills and dark color (Uni-Black). With graceful movements the SE changes the track.

A true getaway: The aware sports trimmed chassis is perfect for fast chases. The complete undercarriage suspension consists of specially shortened dampers and progressive-rate lowering springs with 18mm wire gauge. The necessary delay provides an AP 6-piston sports brake system with 352 x 32mm discs. This corresponds to the original DTM brake-system of the C-Class from 1991!

This model which was finished in 1991 by INDEN Design can still be proud seen today, with perfect details, such as: U.S. headlamps and taillights, rebuilding to Model 1986 (smooth planking), the interior which is completely covered in black Nappa leather with König Sport seats in the front spots, the wood elements into recoated in gray bird’s eye maple and the related fully in leather luggage.

This video, shot during the 2009 VW Blasen, shows an amazing drag run from a MKI Volkswagen Polo.  Outfitted with a 1,032-horsepower turbocharged 1.9-Liter 16V engine from AME Racing, the driver was able to take the car down the strip in sensational fashion.  The four-cylinder engine produces up to 701 ft-lb (950 Nm) of torque, and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

The car elicited resounding applause, whistles, and cheers as it blew the competition away en route to a 9.398 quarter-mile time at 238 km/h (147.9 mph).  0-100km/h takes just 2.3 seconds, with top speed allegedly near 300 km/h (186.4 mph).

The rival car didn’t even have a prayer; it crossed the line in 14.359 at 168 km/h (104 mph).  The event took place over the summer at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz in Schipkau, Germany.
